Beverly Rummel Obituary
Obituary published on Legacy.com by Harder Funeral Home - Brookfield on Dec. 3, 2025.
(nee Harrmann) passed away peacefully Sunday, November 30, 2025, at the age of 96. From the quiet simplicity of summer farm life in Door County as an only child to the joyful chaos of raising nine children, her life was a remarkable journey of love, resilience, and resourcefulness.
Beverly was the steady heartbeat of her family. She showed her love in a hundred small ways, but most often through the comfort of her homemade creations; grandma bread delivered 'just because,' fudge cake made for every gathering, and the kind of treats that made everyone feel like they were receiving something truly special. She was also known for her award-winning pickles and her true German potato salad, dishes requested at every family get-together and remembered by everyone who tasted them.
Her devotion to her family remained constant throughout every chapter of her life. Beverly filled her days with simple joys and the hobbies she loved. She was an avid knitter and crocheter, always keeping her hands busy with a new project. A true Wisconsin sports fan, she cheered passionately for the Packers, Brewers, Bucks, and Badgers. She enjoyed reading, playing cards, and unwinding with her iPad, as well as spirited games of dominoes. Beverly also cherished evenings spent at the Fireside for live theater and performances, which always brought her great delight. Most of all, she loved watching her kids and grandchildren's sporting events, proudly supporting them from the stands at every opportunity.
Beverly is survived by her beloved children: Gregg Rummel, Christine (Richter) Dolphin, Jeffrey (Maria) Rummel, Scott (Donna) Rummel, Beth Rummel, Mark Rummel, Kurt (Jodi) Rummel, Dean (Jill) Rummel, and Chad (Amy) Rummel. Loving grandmother of Kim (Dave) McSorley, James (Tara) Dolphin, Denise (Raymond) Terrell, Kelley (Zach) Burnett, Jennifer (Adam) Kok, Timothy (Carla) Rummel, Brian (Jamie) Rummel, Erick (Melissa) Rummel, Reed McCoy, Ryan Rummel, Ashley (Daniel) Wilde, Taylor Rummel, Jason Rummel, Kayla (Joe) Reuter, Logan (Cassidy) Rummel, Noah Rummel, Belle Rummel, and Blake Rummel. Proud great-grandmother of Maddie, Emily, Troy, Drew, Alyssia, Isaiah, Elijah, Elsa, Jack, Wells, Timmy, Cheyenne, Will, Clayton, Connor, Myles, Andrew, Sophia, Damion, and Savannah, and a cherished great-great-grandmother of Jaxon. Preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Gladys Harrmann, grandson Nicholas, and great-great-granddaughter Kenzlee.
