Beverly Sarver

Beverly Jean (Gilman) Sarver, age 96, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, November 2, 2025, at 12:50AM. She was born on April 18, 1929, in Muskegon, Michigan to Wayne and Kathryn Gilman, who preceded her in death. She was married to her high school sweetheart for 69 years, Daniel Sarver, who also preceded her in death. Her brothers, Ray and Ralph Gilman; and her daughter, Debra Alfonso also preceded her in death. She is survived by her two children, Ike (Susan) Sarver, and Roger Sarver; 10 grandchildren, Scott Sarver (Jessica), Jill Gearhart (Fritz), Karen Timmermans (Scott), Tony Alfonso, Alicia Alfonso (Jeremy), Maria Osterink (Will), Andrea Alfonso, Rebecca Burbank, Jeremie Sarver Benz, Katie Chamberlain (Brandon); 18 great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren and brother-in-law, Ben (Kay) Sarver. Visitation will be held on Friday, November 7, from 4 to 7 PM at Stroo Funeral Home, 1095 68th St. SE, Grand Rapids. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 8, at 11 AM at Dutton United Reformed Church, 6950 Hanna Lake Ave. SE, Caledonia with a visitation prior to the service from 10 � 10:45 AM. Rev. Merle Buwalda will officiate. Interment will be in Holy Corners Cemetery. Memorial contributions in memory of Beverly may be made to the Dutton URC Mission Fund.
