Beverly Sweigart Obituary
She was born in Schoeneck, the daughter of the late Norman and Lillian (Hehnly) Shiffler.
She was a member of Mellingers Lutheran Church, Schoeneck, where she also sang in the choir. She found joy in a good book and in tending to her abundant plants, each one thriving under her green thumb.
Beverly is survived by son, Dennis Sweigart, husband of Tamara, and daughter, Denise Hoffer, 3 grandchildren, Clinton Sweigart, husband of Jennifer, Cammie Lynn Sweigart, and Luke Sweigart; 2 great-grandsons, Dustin Sweigart and Donovan Checet; 2 sisters, Sandy Reynolds and Nancy Weachter.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by 2 sisters, Arlene Heck, Patricia Shiffler, and a brother, Charlie Shiffler.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, December 18, 2025, from 10 to 11 AM at Roseboro Stradling Funeral Home, 533 Walnut St., Denver. Funeral services will follow at 11 AM, with Pastor Timothy L. Craven officiating. Interment will take place in the Mellingers Union Cemetery.
