Beverly Joan “Bev” Verzier, 86, of Maumelle, Arkansas, passed away peacefully on November 8, 2025. She was born February 14, 1939, in Waterbury, Connecticut, to Nicholas and Elizabeth “Betty” Currie Verzier.
Bev proudly served her country in the U.S. Air Force, achieving the rank of Staff Sergeant and 1st Lieutenant. A Crosby High School valedictorian and lifelong athlete, she enjoyed bowling, golf, and softball—continuing to golf until 2020 when her health no longer allowed.
Bev was known for her caring heart, quick wit, and sense of humor. She loved puzzles, supported military and police charities, and cherished her dogs, Tammi and Lexi.
She is survived by her sister, Ann Millette; niece Shannan Gauthier (Mark) and nephew Chad Iris (Christine); and dear friends Debra Uekman and Rachel Perez. She was preceded in death by her brother-in-law Ron Millette.
Memorials may be made to Alzheimer’s Arkansas.
