Beverly "Bev" Jean Wright

OBIT FOR: BEVERLY "BEV" JEAN WRIGHT Beverly "Bev" Jean Wright, 83 of Zanesville passed peacefully into the arms of the Lord at 10:10 PM August 10, 2016 at The Oaks at Northpointe after an extended battle with Alzheimer's. She was born on August 9, 1933 in Coshocton, Ohio the daughter of Theodore and Daisy Pauline Sandafer Holsky. Bev was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who enjoyed working with word puzzles & especially spending time with her family. She is survived by her husband of 64 years, George Edward Wright; 4 daughters, Diana Combs of Marysville, Connie (Bill) Stout of Thornville, Brenda (Tim) Maxhimer of Zanesville, and Judy (Randy) Cale of Blue Rock; her grandchildren, Patsy (Kenneth) Smythe, Amy (Dave) Love, Tina (Eric) McLean, Adam (Mindy) Stout, Ryan (Megan) Combs, Dave (Ashley) Dilley, Justin (Stephanie) Cale, Tiffany (George) Walsh, Stacey (Joe) Heath, Leigh (Justin) Pierce, Jenn (Anthony) Wagner and Beth Cale; 18 great grandchildren with two more expected later this year; 3 sisters, Betty Mendenhall and Alice Wright of Zanesville and Sandy (Ronnie) Fisher of East Fultonham and her beloved pet dog Rosco. Bev was preceded in death in addition to her parents by two brothers, Ted and Larry Holsky, and two sons-in-law, Barry Combs and David Dilley. Visitation will be held from 3pm to 6pm Sunday August 14, 2016 at the Bryan & Hardwick Funeral Home, 2318 Maple Ave. where the funeral service be held at 11:00 AM Monday, August 15, 2016 with Pastor Karen Walters officiating. Burial will conclude at the Zanesville Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made to the Alzheimer's Association or the Hospice of Central Ohio. The Bryan & Hardwick Funeral Home, 2318 Maple Ave. Zanesville is in charge of the arrangements.
