Bige Griffith Obituary
Mr. Bige Edward Griffith, age 78 of LaFollette, TN, formerly of Harlan, KY passed away on Wednesday, December 3, 2025. He was born on November 20, 1947, in Harlan County, KY to the late Shelby and Dorothy (Caudill) Griffith, and was formerly employed with General Motors. He had a love for auto mechanics and took great pride in maintaining his beloved 1970 Dodge Challenger R/T. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brothers Terry, Dennis, Benny, Dean, Wendell, and Kenneth.
He is survived by his sons, Bige Edward Griffith, Jr. and Erik Griffith and wife, Porchia; a proud grandfather to Arianna, Natalie, Ethan, Halle, and Sullivan; sisters Monnie, Pansie, Elaine, and Judy, as well as brothers Mack and Jasper.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, December 9, 2025 from 2:00 – 4:00 PM at Walters Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will be held in Harlan County, KY. Walters Funeral Home of LaFollette is honored to be serving the family of Mr. Bige Edward Griffith.
