Bilhildis “Hilda” Cheney, 95, of Fayetteville, went home to be with her Lord on Tuesday, July 9, 2024.
Hilda was born in Germany and was a proud member of the German Club of Fayetteville.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 20, 2024, at noon at Sullivan’s Highland Chapel. The family will receive friends following the service.
Hilda is survived by her son, Mike Cheney and his wife Faye, of Fayetteville; a great granddaughter, Kalayla Burroughs; and her twin sister, Lina Giling of Germany.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Larry Cheney; granddaughter, Ashley Cheney; grandson, Wes Pittman; and a brother, Couney Schlambach.
