Bill Barrett encouraged my photography while at Webster University, and I am forever grateful to him. He started the Small Wall Gallery after seeing an independent study project that I did. Attending that opening to see my photos hung on the wall was an indescribable thrill. It helped to give me confidence to move to the NYC and pursue a successful career in photography, photo editing, and now creative direction. There were a few people at Webster who helped get this path started for me, and Bill was an important one. Sending my sincerest condolences to his family.
