Bill Bolln Jr, 70, died March 23, 2026 in Chadron, NE after a battle with dementia.
He graduated from Chadron High School in 1974 and went to work with the family beer distributing business, Bolln Distributing Co.
In 1974 he married Joan and together they had three daughters Cory, Kelli and Traci.
He drove the ‘beer truck’ delivering Miller products from Harrison to Ainsworth. Bill and Joan then ran the recycling
center on first street. In 1985 it was time to leave the family business and start working with cattle, thus Dunlap
Feedlot was started. Ranching was the ultimate goal, so after 4 years of building the feed lot it
was sold. Bill and Joan bought a ranch in the Bethel Church area south of Whitney. The cow/calf
operation was expanding and in 2005 they moved to South Dakota to the ranch of his dreams.
There they ranched until retirement and the sale of the ranch in 2022.
Bill is survived by his wife of 51 years Joan and their dog Barney. Daughters Cory (Mark)
Brennan, their children Collin (Lizzi Hunt) and Rylee. Kelli (Jack) Rembrandt-Tameron (Kelli)
Sayaloune-Hazynh, Kiesynh and Lawsynh, Dillan Sayaloune and Blake Rhembrandt. Traci
(Butch) Hollibaugh-Laney Klemke (Taylor Tallon). He is also survived by his mother Joan N.
Bolln, sister Lynn Lipman and great aunt Carol Nelson.
Bill is preceded in death by his father Bill Bolln Sr and brother Mark Bolln.
As per Bills request there will be no services held. A celebration of life will be held at a later
date.
