Bill Eldridge Obituary
Bill S. Eldridge, age 90 of Salem, passed away Tuesday, December 23, 2025 at Salem Crossing.
Mr. Eldridge was born February 26, 1935, in Timothy, TN the son of Lester and Elizabeth Robbins Eldridge. He was a member of the VFW, American Legion, Charter Member of the Moose Lodge, and the NRA. Mr. Eldridge was a United States Army Veteran. For work he was a surveyor for the state of Tennessee, and farmed raising cattle on his farm in Salem. Mr. Eldridge enjoyed playing golf, riding horses, taking care of his cattle and Old Crow Whiskey.
Mr. Eldridge is survived by the love of his life, Linda Scott, who he has been with for the past 41 years. He is also survived by his sister, Glinda, his special nephew Danny and many other nieces and nephews.
Mr. Eldridge is preceded in death by his parents, his brothers: Bob, Mitch, Paul, John, Ed, Howard and Hugh, and his sisters: Wilkie, Lois, Maureen and Elna.
Direct Cremation was chosen for Mr. Eldridge. Burial will take place at the Indiana Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Madison, Indiana.
