Betty Johnson Obituary
Betty Jo was a homemaker and loved going to her winter home in Florida, going to church and playing shuffle with her friends and neighbors there. She grew up in Naoma, West Virginia and later she moved to East Bank where she lived for many years. She then moved to Hurricane, where she has resided for the last seven years.
Betty Jo was a good Christian lady and loved the Lord. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
Preceding her in death were her beloved husband, William Johnson and parents, Elmer and Juanita McCoy.
Surviving are daughter, Michelle White (Ricky); brothers, Emil 'Sonny' McCoy (Connie), Jimmy McCoy (Tina), David McCoy (Georgina), Jerry McCoy (Carol); sisters, Susie Miller (David), Anna Moss (Rick); grandchildren, Paula White and Michael Knight; two great grandchildren; special niece, Tricia Sullivan and several other nieces and nephews that she loved very much.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m., Thursday, November 30, 2023 at Fidler and Frame Funeral Home, Belle. Visitation will be held one hour prior to service time at the funeral home on Thursday. Interment will follow in Montgomery Memorial Park, London.
The family wishes to extend a special thank you to Hubbard Hospice House West, South Charleston for their excellent care of Betty Jo and kindness to our family.
