Sorrow and prayers to the Hack family for your loss of Bill. My favorite memory of Bill was when he ran the creamery route and would stop at our place near Pisgah to pick up the cream and the eggs. He often came around lunch time and he and George (my dad) would have a card game or two. Those games resulted in a lot of laughter and good old boy competition. Hope those two are having a card game now.

Sending lots of love to the Hacks right now. I have many memories of Grandpa Bill including seeing him at the country club and around Logan. He always teased me every time he saw me up until I saw him last, which was just when I was back in the fall for my grandmother's funeral. I will miss him and am thinking about you guys! Love and hugs from Jaime, Jeff, Alivia and Austin!

Soft and safe be the earthy bed of our brother; bright and glorious be his rising from it. Fragrant be the acacia sprig which shall flourish there. May the earliest buds of spring unfold their beauties over his resting place, and, in the bright morning of the world's resurrection, may his soul spring into newness of life and expand into immortal beauty in realms beyond the skies. Until then, dear Uncle and brother, until then ---Farewell!
May we keep the virtues of our brother green and fragrant forever. Amen

So Mote it be.

Uncle Bill you will be missed!

I enjoyed getting to know Bill at the country club and golfing with him too. He had many stories and always made me laugh. My kids loved him also and loved to tease him. He had a great sense of humor in his gruff way that he always tried to be, but he really was an ole softy. Prayers for you all, at this time of sorrow.
