Bill Sawyer Mays, 63, passed away November 8, 2024 in Weatherford, Texas surrounded by loved ones. He was born March 26, 1961 in Fort Worth, Texas to parents William and Helen Mays. He married Cathy Self on March 18, 2006. He was a member of Indian Creek Baptist Church in Mineral Wells. He worked for many years as a Journeyman Electrician. Services will be 2 PM Thursday, November 14, 2024 at Indian Creek Baptist Church in Mineral Wells. Burial will follow in Perrin Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Visitation is Wednesday from 6-8 PM at Baum-Carlock-Bumgardner Funeral Home.
He is survived by his wife Cathy Mays of Perrin, Texas, daughter and son-in-law Jessica and Craig Tipton of Lubbock, Texas, son Cody Mays of Bonham, Texas, grandchildren Milo, Maisie, Amya, and Zowie, sister Cathy and husband Randy Dorsett, sister in law Tina Mays, and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Tony, and sisters Sherry and Connie.
