Bill Pearl was one of the early leaders of bodybuilding. A quality person that set his own path. I have his book Getting Stronger, which I still refer to. He will always be one of the greatest.

My competition years were brief but triumphant in the early 1980’s, mostly inspired by Arnold. Forty years on and I have found new inspiration in you to train harder than ever. RIP Bill. Gary Quinn - England

I had the honor of meeting Bill Pearl in 2000 in Atlanta when he was the Life Fitness spokesman . He was every bit as impressive as you read about , still muscular , looked 25 years younger than he was { he was 70 at the time } , and made you feel like you were his best friend when he spoke to you . Perhaps the most proportioned physique of all time that was as strong as it looked , and the author of "Keys to the Inner Universe" the greatest bodybuilding exercise manual ever written to this day . The world lost a great man this week , may God bless you and your family .
