William Patrick "Bill" Ruffing,
61, of Bethel Park, PA passed away peacefully with his wife of 39 years at his side on November 23, 2023, at Whitehall Skilled Nursing. Bill was born March 17, 1962, to the late Melvin "Mel" and Dolores "Dolly" Ruffing. As a young man, Bill worked as a carpenter, noted for his strong work ethic, and was a proud member of the Carpenters, Local Union 230. He was passionate about the outdoors and especially enjoyed hunting. Bill's greatest joy was spending time with his loving family.
Those left to cherish and honor his memories include his beloved wife Lori A. (Martin) Ruffing, father to Mark (Stacy) Ruffing, and Scott (Becca) Ruffing, treasured grandchildren, Lydia, Hannah, Lila, and Patrick. Brother to Donna Hamilton, Audrey (Donald) Prex, and Dan Ruffing.
Family and friends welcome Sunday, 2-8 PM FREYVOGEL-SLATER FUNERAL DIRECTORS (412-835-1860) 112 Fort Couch Rd, Bethel Park, 15241 (opposite Macy's South Hills Village). Funeral Mass Monday, 10:30 AM in St. Louise de Marillac Church, St. Catherine Laboure Parish. Burial wil be private to the family.
