Bill Turnbow, 81, Bismarck, died January 24, 2007.  Services will be held at 1:30 pm Monday at Church of St. Mary with Rev. Ed Wehner officiating.  Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens, Bismarck.

       Visitation will be held from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm Saturday and 1:00 pm to 9:00 pm Sunday at Eastgate Funeral Service, Bismarck, where a vigil will be held at 7:00 pm on Sunday.  Visitation will continue one hour prior to services at the church.

       Bill was born on June 13, 1925, in Bismarck to Sam and Lillian Turnbow.  He attended Bismarck schools and went on to farm and ranch northeast of Bismarck.  On October 10, 1945, Bill married June Ely.  Bill had been a member of the Stockmen's Association as well as a lifetime member of the Bismarck Elks and Eagles.

       Bill is survived by his wife, June of Bismarck, ND; his four children, Sam (Nancy)Turnbow of Bismarck, ND, Caryn Ed) Lowe of Boise, ID, Susan (Darr) Cannon and Dennis (Lynn) Turnbow, all of Kirkland, WA; his nine grandchildren, Evan (Mary) Lowe of Houston, TX, Marni and Aaron Lowe of Boise, ID, Andrew Cannon of Austin, TX, Morgan and Haley Turnbow of Kirkland, WA, Bryan (Jennifer) Turnbow, Brandy (Jack) Brendel, and Ben Turnbow, all of Bismarck, ND; his two great-grandchildren, Sam Brendel and Truman Turnbow, both of Bismarck, ND; and his two sisters, Margaret (Duane) Mack and Catherine Entze, all of Bismarck, ND.

       Bill was preceded in death by his parents, Sam and Lillian Turnbow; his two sisters, Mary Anderson and Eunice Sabot; and his two brothers, George Turnbow and Joseph Turnbow.

       In lieu of flowers, the family prefers memorials to Elks Camp Grassick, St. Anne's Catholic Church or a charity of the donor's choice.
