Thank you, Bill for all you did for us at First United Methodist Church. Each time I walk into our sanctuary I think of you and your tremendous dedication to our church. Thank you for all you did to "build us up again" on that corner. Your legacy will be forever marked by the sanctuary on the corner of Poplar and 2nd. My deepest sympathies to your family. Bill and Diane were good friends to my parents, Allen and Louise Klomps when Bill directed the choir at the Methodist church in Holly Springs, MS. Dad and Bill sang together and golfed together for many years. I am very sorry for your loss. He will be greatly missed. Though I can imagine he and Dad playing a round or two of heavenly golf.

Bill was a gift to our lives from College throughout his life. At Memphis First UMC, Bill contributed to the music ministry, leadership in worship and the building of the new sanctuary. He was the architect and worked with the building committee throughout that project. Diane had her own contribution to the life of the church in Music and Women´s ministry. May God bring Comfort to Diane and the family. We are grateful for the life of Bill Wage.
