Billie Borland
Billie “Beco” Borland, 50, passed away on July 28, 2024 in Port St. Lucie, Florida.
Mr. Borland was born in Vero Beach, Florida and was a lifelong resident of Fort Pierce.
Billie was the owner/operator of Borland Truck & Tractor. He was a provider, and his family was always first. He was a member of the Carter’s Breakfast Club. He loved his DAWGS, going fishing, playing softball, anything with a motor, especially riding his Harley with his friends, drag racing, and his airboat. He also looked forward to the Keys trips every year with his family for lobster season. Billie loved watching Bryce play ball both as a child and college football at Washington & Jefferson University in Pennsylvania and he loved it when Bug would cook for him. He was involved in many facets of the community…he knew so many people and never met a stranger.
Survivors include his wife, Tina Borland of Fort Pierce, FL; daughter, Baillie Borland of Fort Pierce, FL; son, Bryce Borland of Fort Pierce, FL; mother, Dollie Borland of Fort Pierce, FL; brother, Brady (Jennifer) Borland of Port St. Lucie, FL; father & mother-in-law, Derrell & Jody Abercrombie of Fort Pierce, FL; brother-in-law, Derrell (Megan) Abercrombie of Fort Pierce, FL and Derrick Abercrombie of Fort Pierce, FL; niece, Jessie Abercrombie; nephews, Brayden & Blake Borland; and his dogs, Zeus & Ozzy. He was preceded in death by his father, Pete Borland.
Services: Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 3, 2024 from 9:00-11:00 AM with a service to follow at 11:00 AM at Christ Fellowship Church, 10250 SW Village Parkway, Port St. Lucie, FL 34987. Family is requesting you wear Georgia Bulldogs black and red. Burial will follow at White City Cemetery.
