Union County, South Carolina - Billie "Fuzz" Jefferson Currence, Jr., 83, passed away peacefully at his home, surrounded by family.
He was a native of York County, SC and retired from the South Carolina Army National Guard.
There are no announced services at this time, and the family will be at their respective homes.
Memorials may be made to the Shriners Hospital, 950 West Faris Rd., Greenville, SC, 29605

So sorry to hear about the passing of Fuzz. He and my husband served together in the Army National Guard and they were good friends. He always made us laugh. What a great guy.

Fuzz and I worked many years for the National Guard. We were best of friends. We traveled a lot on mission for the Guard. He was and outstanding man and will be missed

I have known Fuzz for many many years... Fuzz was the kind of guy that you loved as a friend... Fuzz worked many years with the York County Sheriff´s Office as a reserve deputy.... He will be surely missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him...Thanks Fuzz for being my friend... I know you and your buddy CD Morton are now walking a beat on the golden streets of heaven.... Rest in peace my friend...,
