Billie Harmon Obituary

On Tuesday, December 9th, 2025, Billie L. Harmon was called home after a full life at the age of 92. Billie will be missed by her friends and family.

Billie was born in Ellensburg, WA on November 25th, 1933, third of four children to Benjamin Dreyer & Flossie Kissinger. She grew up in Ellensburg with her three sisters Peggy, Helen and Jackie. She attended Ellensburg High School where she graduated in 1952. In 1953 she was married to her high school sweetheart Allen Harmon. They had three children, Pamela (1955), Sheri (1956) and Karen (1957).

After marriage, she followed her husband to El Paso TX and Ft Monmouth, NJ where he was stationed in the Army. They returned to live in Seattle and raised their three daughters. Following Allen's career, they moved to Bremerton for a year then to Oxnard and Ventura California. In 1977 they returned to live in Seattle until Allen retired, then moved to Ellensburg where they bought their family farm (where Billie was born in 1933). Billie and Allen loved their retirement living in Ellensburg and especially all the moments with family and friends. There she remained until her death in 2025. Her husband, Allen, passed away in 2021.

She loved the family farm and kept track of the deer and the gophers that are always around in the yard. She loved managing the walnut and pear trees in the fall.

She is loved and survived by her sister Jackie, three children, eight grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.
