Billie Norris Obituary

PLYMOUTH - Billie Jo Norris, 53, passed away Saturday, Sept. 6, 2025, after an extended illness. Her passing marks the close of a life filled with love, laughter, and devotion to those she held dear.
The beloved daughter of William W. and Vicki (Klinedinst) Norris, Billie was born on Oct. 19, 1971, at Parkview Hospital in Plymouth.
A proud graduate of LaVille High School's Class of 1990, Billie went on to earn her Associate's Degree in Medical Transcription from Michiana College. She dedicated fourteen years to St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis as a Medical Transcriber before returning to Plymouth. There, she worked for Digger Specialties and later found her calling at St. Joseph Regional Medical Center as a Patient Access Representative in Admissions-a role in which her compassion, warmth, and lively personality shone brightly.
In 2020, Billie met Bobby "Beau" Hodge. Their long-distance courtship quickly became inseparable, and Beau moved to Plymouth to share life by her side. Together, they built a loving home filled with laughter, devotion, and their two cherished "shih poos," Maggie and Luci.
Family was at the heart of everything Billie did. She treasured Sunday family dinners, backyard barbeques, and any opportunity to spend time with those she loved. Her gentle spirit was evident in her deep affection for animals and her constant willingness to help anyone in need. Billie loved the simple joys of life-listening to Kenny Chesney or Billy Joel, cheering for the Indianapolis Colts on Sundays, or curling up with HGTV and Hallmark movies during the holidays. Summer was her favorite season, when she could enjoy time by the pool or at the beach under the sun's warm embrace.
Billie's memory will forever be cherished by her parents, Bill and Vicki; her fiancé, Bobby "Beau" Hodge; her brother, Kristopher (Megan) Norris; and her nephews, Drew and Grant, who held a special place in her heart. She will also be deeply missed by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends, as well as her faithful companions, Maggie and Luci.
She is welcomed into eternal rest by her grandparents, Norman and Eileen Klinedinst and N. Welcome and Lois Norris, along with her beloved fur-baby, Abby, and many other dear relatives.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, Sept. 13, 2025, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Johnson-Danielson Funeral Home, 1100 N. Michigan Street, Plymouth, IN 46563. Funeral services will follow at 1 p.m.
In honor of Billie's lifelong love for animals, memorial contributions may be made to the Marshall County Humane Society, P.O. Box 22, Plymouth, IN 46563.
