Ida Belle "Billie" Rowell, age 80 of Norcross, GA, passed away Friday, December 19, 2025, in Toccoa, GA. Mrs. Rowell has been cremated, and a memorial visitation will be held Sunday, December 28, 2025, from 1-3 PM at Hamilton Mill Memorial Chapel. Billie was preceded in death by her husband, James Matthew "Jimmy" Rowell; parents, Foster Jones Hunter and Ida Burgess Hunter; brothers, Talmadge Hunter, Elmore Hunter, and Malcolm Hunter; sister Mildred Hunter. She is survived by her daughter, Missy Wilson (Pat), Flowery Branch, GA; grandchildren, Jacob Bennett (Jessica), Jeremy Bennett (Nichole), Maddox Wilson; great grandchildren; Walker Bennett, Sutton Bennett, Weslyn Bennett, Brynlee Bennett, Brooks Bennett. Billie was born in Kingston, GA and was a lifelong resident of the North Georgia area. She retired from the Dekalb County Sheriff's Office. Billie was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who was known for doing everything she could, not only for her family, but anyone she knew needed help.
