Billie Louise VanZandt

Billie Louise VanZandt, 94, passed away peacefully at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 8, 2026, surrounded by her loving family. Billie was born September 15, 1931, in Christopher, Illinois, to Avery and Alta (Williams) Niblett. She married Doy VanZandt on March 18, 1951. She is survived by her children, Andrea (Jan) Parker and Pam Norris. Grandchildren, Julie Parker, Brad (Whitney) Parker, and Carrie (Jason) Threewitt. Great-grandchildren, Skyler Parker, Taylor Parker, and Addison Parker. Many special nieces and nephews. As well as her special caregiver, Kayla Niblett, who took great care of her. Billie graduated from Christopher High School, was a homemaker and a member of the Red Hats Society, and the Christian Church. Billie was an avid sports enthusiast, especially her St Louis Cardinals. Billie is preceded in death by her loving husband, Doy VanZandt, parents, Avery Niblett and Alta Niblett Cherry, step-father, Ira Cherry, sisters Mildred Hagen, Margaret Pasquino, Betty Jones, and brothers Howard, Donald, and Ronald Niblett. A Memorial service will be held on Tuesday, January 13, 2026, at 1:00 PM with Brother Larry Cook officiating. Visitation will be on Tuesday from 11:00 AM until the time of the service at 1:00 PM at the funeral home.
