Survivors include his daughters, Tammy Duncan and her husband, Deat, Barbara Haro and her husband, Robert; son, James Wiese; grandchildren, Dylan Duncan and his wife, Amanda, Nicholas Haro, and Joseph Haro; great-grandchildren, Torry and Kyson Duncan; sister, Tillie Marbut; brother, Kenneth Wiese and his wife, Audra; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Lela Wiese; parents, Emma Louise Muegge and William Willie Wiese; and siblings, Laura Kelm, Gertrude Gunn, and Ora Sanders.

A gathering of Mr. Wiese's family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Thursday, December 4, 2025, at Broussard's 505 North 12th street, Nederland. A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, December 5, 2025, at First Baptist Church of Beauxart Gardens, 8230 Holmes Road Nederland. His interment to follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery of Jefferson County, Nederland.
