Billy Ray Allen ,72, of Indianapolis passed away at his residence on Wednesday, December 10, 2025.
Billy was born November 1, 1953, in Erin Tennessee. He was the son of the Bailey Allen and Maebell (Bryant) Allen. Billy met Maralyn (Kraning) Allen the love of his life in 1970, sharing a legacy of 52 years of marriage. Billy was a proud Southern country boy, Billy lived a life full of love, laughter, and cherished moments spending time with friends and family.
Billy is survived by his beloved wife, Maralyn Allen; his son Michael (Jennifer) Allen; his grandson Tyler Eberhard; his granddaughter Madison Allen (Hunter Ritter); and his great granddaughter Oakley Ritter.
Billy enjoyed the simple pleasures of life—fishing, bowling, spending time at the campground, and savoring a cold beer. Above all, he loved his family deeply and created countless memories that will live on in their hearts forever.
A memorial gathering to celebrate Billy’s life will be held on Tuesday, December 23, 2025, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Flanner Buchanan – Washington Park East.
