Billy D. Buriel, II

Mr. Billy D. Demond Buriel II passed away on Wednesday, May 21, 2025, at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, Michigan. Age 21 years. Billy was born on July 12, 2003, in Saginaw, MI, to Tekema Carmichael and Billy Buriel.

Billy was a certified C.N.A., and he was his mother's Caregiver. Billy loved playing basketball, video games, and spending time with his family. Billy loved his granny, Bloneva Sanders, his stepfather, Roger Sanders, and his aunt Karla, who was the love of his heart.

Billy leaves to cherish his memory his mother, Tekema Carmichael; father, Billy Buriel; Siblings, Journey, Marsha, Maurice, and Bai Jean Buriel; grandmother Bloneva Sanders; grandparents, John (Zena) Carmichael, and Mark Wayne Davis; special aunts, Monique Boles, and Wendy Carmichael; special uncles, Marcellus and Karlos Carmichael; special cousin, Courtney Meadows; and a host of cousins, aunts and uncles including special friends Alex Chappell, Jordan Adams, Caleb Smith, Kavari Purifoy and Quantae Mayes.

Billy was all about family, he will be truly missed by all who loved and knew him.

Billy was preceded in death by his grandmothers, Betty Jean Buriel and Annie Mae Davis; Stepfather Roger Sanders, and aunt Karla Carmichael.

The family would like to thank the Staff at Covenant Hospital and the Staff at Henry Ford Hospital for all the care that was provided to our Billy.
