Mr. Billy Don Campbell passed away at his residence on Monday, March 9, 2026.
Billy Campbell was born on September 30, 1966, in Dallas, Texas to Joy D. and Tommie Lee (Cathey) Campbell. He married Joyce (Taylor) Campbell on September 1, 2000, in Hopkins County, Texas. Billy was a family man and good friend to everyone he met. He loved to go coon hunting. He especially loved to spend time with his grandchildren. Billy was an exceptional father who was always the life of the party and never met a stranger. Known as a big joker, he brought laughter and joy to those around him.
Billy is survived by his wife, Joyce Campbell; mother, Tommie Lee (Cathey) Campbell; son, Floyd Taylor and wife Hayley; daughter, Amanda Johnson; grandchildren, Makynslee Wood, Aunalee Wood, Jackson Taylor, Alana Curry and Zoe Curry; brother, Troy Campbell; sisters, Denise Campbell and Delaine Dyer.
He was preceded in death by his father, Joy D. Campbell; and one brother Rodney Campbell.
