Billy Wayne Eason, 61, of Burleson, Texas, passed away on November 7, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of loyalty, humor, and generosity that touched everyone who knew him.

Born on March 17, 1964, in Seville, Spain, Billy was the beloved son of Gene and JoAnne Eason and the devoted husband of 27 years to Kimberly Eason. He was a proud father to his daughters, And'e Ngo and Hunter Eason, and a grandfather to seven grandchildren.

A proud U.S. Marine Corps Corporal, Billy embodied the Corps's core values after his service ended. After earning his bachelor's degree from the University of Texas at Arlington, he built a successful career in construction and insurance adjusting - fields that reflected his strong work ethic and meticulous attention to detail. Billy approached every task-whether at work, home, or among friends-with the same dedication he showed as a Marine. As a veteran, he was also deeply committed to the Wounded Warrior Project.

Billy's charisma, quick wit, and generous heart left an impression everywhere he went. He never met a stranger and always had time for those in need. Known for his profound compassion for animals, Billy never turned his back on an animal in need, particularly dogs. The care and tenderness he showed a sick pet might seem at odds with the military toughness that was part of his character. In reality, it was very much a part of being a Marine and very much a part of the real man that Billy was. He and Kim fostered dogs for many years and saw them through adoption into their forever homes. Billy left behind a legacy of devotion to his beloved pets by supporting the Humane Society of North Texas.

When he wasn't helping others, Billy loved fishing and hunting with his dad and friends,

collecting firearms, or recounting the tale of his 154-yard, hole-in-one with an 8-iron on the 11th hole at Whitestone Golf Club in Benbrook, Texas.

Billy is survived by his wife, Kimberly Eason; his parents, JoAnne and Gene Eason; daughters, And'e Ngo and Hunter Eason; seven grandchildren; brother, Jeff Eason; sister-in-law, Melissa Eason; sister, Pam Wells; and brother-in-law, Eddie Wells. He is also survived by his nephews, Jeffrey Thomas Eason, Bret Wells, and Adam Wells; his niece, Tiffany Strong; and many other cherished family members too numerous to mention.

Military honors will be held on January 5, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at the Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery (2000 Mountain Creek Parkway, Dallas, TX 75211). A tribute and celebration of life will follow at 11:30 a.m. at Reds Roadhouse in Kennedale (1170 E. Kennedale Parkway, Kennedale, TX 76060). This will be a celebratory event, open to friends and family to share remarkable stories and unforgettable memories.

In place of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the HSNT or the Wounded Warrior Project in Billy's name.

Billy lived by the Marine Corps values he cherished-Honor, Courage, and Commitment. Once a Marine, always a Marine. Semper Fi.
