Billy Joe Hartsell

Billy Joe Hartsell, 58, of Albemarle, passed away Saturday, September 21, 2024.

Billy was born July 30, 1966 in North Carolina to the late Herman Lee Hartsell Jr. and Barbara Ann Hartsell. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Latissua (Tish) Hartsell.

The family will receive friends from 4:00 pm - 7:00 pm, Saturday, September 28, 2024 at Hartsell Funeral Home of Midland. The funeral service will be on Sunday, September 29, 2024 at 2:00 pm at Hartsell Funeral Home's Jack Hartsell Memorial Chapel in Midland officiated by Pastor Rufus Fulcher. Burial will follow at Clarks Grove Primitive Baptist Cemetery at Hwy. 200, Stanfield.

Billy was a loving husband, and a wonderful father. He loved his family and friends and would do anything for anyone. He enjoyed watching NASCAR and he also loved riding his motorcycle to the beach and the mountains. Billy was a great handyman and could fix about anything.

Survivors include daughter, Keely Yow; mother, Barbara Ann Hartsell; father-in-law, J. C. (Alice) Page; mother-in-law, Gloretta (Arnold) Jean Morgan; brother, Michael Dale Hartsell; sister, Tonya Ann Hartsell; and many beloved nieces and nephews.
