Bill has been a friend for many years. His friendship with my children, Deborah and Duane has been like a brother. He was always there to help with farming, trucking, times with kids and support during times of trouble, but also times to just take the boat out and chill. He will be missed by those who loved him. David, we're so sorry for the loss of your brother. You two were thick as thieves and know how much you loved him and will miss him. Prayers for you and the rest of your family.

Bill was an amazing brother. We didn't see each other a lot but always enjoyed our time together. Our family gets together for a meal occasionally, usually at Ole South. There was always lots of laughs shared as well as delicious food. Bill would always say to me, "Sis, we need to do this more often. None of us are getting any younger, you know?"
I'm thankful that the last few years of his life he was able to help countless numbers of people recovering from drugs and alcohol. He loved talking about how much improvement he could see in their clients.
It was hard not being able to visit him during his illness, but he knew I loved him and was praying for him. God did not see fit to heal him physically, but he is not struggling to breathe anymore--safe in the arms of Jesus.

I am so sorry to hear of Bill passing. I did not know him very well
but I do know that he came from a wonderful family. Sorry that we cannot get together
a little now.
