Billy Wayne Little

Billy Wayne Little, 66, of Owingsville, Kentucky, passed away at his home on Tuesday, March 17, 2026. He was born in Fleming County, Kentucky on August 7, 1959. The son of Thelma Hunt Little and the Late Clauda Little.

Billy spent much of his life working in sawmills, welding, yardwork, and maintaining vehicles. He found joy in riding horses, playing games on his phone, and watching westerns.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his wife, Ollie Crouch, one son, Matthew Little, one daughter, Christina Little, as well as a niece, Ashley Little, and a nephew, Josh Austin.

He is survived by his mother, Thelma Hunt Little; his children, Rhonda Little (Timothy Lyons) of Mt. Sterling, Kentucky, Billy Joe Little (Pam) of Carlisle, Kentucky and Christopher Little of Owingsville. He also leaves behind three brothers: Randy Little (Hattie) of Morehead, Kentucky, Roy Little, and Alfred Little both of Owingsville; two sisters, Helen McLaughlin and Donna Austin both of Owingsville.  Grandchildren left behind are Travis Little, Brandon Little, Christopher Little, Shawntee Mills (John), Sierra Hansen, Danielle Little and Joseph Little. Great-grandchildren include Holly Mills, Tony Hansen, Anthony Little and Brayden Little.

Billy’s extended family includes nieces and nephews, among them Amanda Bussell (BJ McClure), Tashina Adams (Doug), Katrina Little, Randy Little II, NaTasha McLaughlin, Shane McLaughlin, Brandon Little, Christina Austin (Anthony Davis), Daniel Austin (Andrea Wallace), Roy Little (Tasha), and Jamie Little (Kristie).

 Visitation for Billy will be Friday, March 20, 2026, from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Michael R Gray Funeral Home, located at 89 Slate Avenue in Owingsville, Kentucky. This will be immediately followed by his funeral service at 2:00 p.m. at the same location. Burial will follow at the Little Cemetery on Sand Road, Owingsville.

Pallbearers include, Randy Little, Randy Little II, Billy Joe Little, Roy Little, Christopher Little, Tim Lyons and Sean Purvis.
