Billy Malone, a beloved master plumber and dedicated family man, passed away peacefully on August 24, 2024 in Waxahachie, Texas. Born on August 13, 1942, in Dallas, Texas, Billy lived a life filled with laughter, hard work, and devotion to his loved ones.
A proud veteran, Billy served in the U.S. Army, showcasing his commitment and service to his country. He was known for his professionalism and skill as a master plumber, where he dedicated many years of his career to working with the Ford Corporation and also served as a delivery driver for a pharmaceutical company. His work ethic and reliability were traits that earned him respect within his community and profession.
Beyond his career, Billy's personality shone brightly. He was a very comical man, bringing joy and laughter to those around him. His deep appreciation for life included hobbies and interests that delighted him, such as playing poker, which he enjoyed with friends and family alike. Billy was an avid Dallas Cowboy Fan.
Family was truly at the heart of Billy's life; he took immense pride in his children and grandchildren. He cherished the time spent with them and reveled in the accomplishments of each generation, finding great joy in watching them grow and thrive.
Billy's legacy will continue to resonate through the memories he created with those he loved. Viewing services will be held on September 3, 2024, from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Golden Gate Funeral Home-Dallas, located at 4155 South R. L. Thornton Freeway, Dallas, Texas. A Funeral Service will take place the following day, September 4, 2024, beginning at 11:00 AM. He will then be laid to rest at the Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery at 2:00 PM.
