Billy Moorefield Obituary
Bill was raised in the Rankin community and held many different jobs in his long work life. He was a faithful member of Clay Creek Baptist Church as long as health permitted.
Coming from a gifted, musical family, he loved to sing and play the guitar at churches locally. He loved to garden, fish, and hunt and always had stories to share.
He was preceded in death by his parents Oatis and Flora (Parker) Moorefield; brothers Samuel and Gene; and sisters Christine Bird, Martha Gossett, Susan Lamb, Edna Monday, and Maurice (Footsie) Cody.
He is survived by his wife Carolyn (Russell) Moorefield; children Ronnie (Sarah) Moorefield, Linda (Dan) Ellison, and Russell Moorefield; grandchildren Shannon (Shannon) Moorefield, Kayla Sartin, Christopher Moorefield, Taylor (Heather) Moorefield, and Josh Moorefield; great-grandchildren Austin Moorefield, Sabrina Moorefield, Gage Barnett, Aletheia Moorefield, and Sequoyah Moorefield; and great-great grandchildren Nola and Riley.
No Services are planned, but a memorial service will be announced at a later date.
