Billy J Noble, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and brother, passed away on November 28, 2025, at the age of 88. Born on February 13, 1937, in Brownsville, Texas, Billy lived a life deeply rooted in his community and family.
Educated at El Jardin High School in Brownsville, Billy began his long and dedicated career as a longshoreman at the young age of 16. His commitment to his work was unwavering, and he remained in this position until his retirement, proudly serving as a member of the ILA International Longshoremen's Association.
Beyond his career, Billy had a passion for ranching that lasted 50 years. He loved caring for his cows and found joy in gardening and fishing, activities that showcased his deep appreciation for nature and the outdoors. More than his hobbies, it was his family that brought him unending joy and purpose.
Billy is survived by his devoted wife, Myrtis Noble, and their son, Billy Noble, Jr. (Vicki). He cherished his role as a grandfather to Cameron Noble (Marissa) and Kaitlin Noble, step-grandfather Casey Sulephen to as well as a step-great-grandfather to Daniella. He also leaves behind his brothers, Lee Noble (Sue) and Harry Noble (Caffey), along with numerous nieces and nephews who held him dear.
Billy was preceded in death by his parents, Lee Noble and Josephine Noble.
As family and friends celebrate Billy’s remarkable legacy, they will remember him not only for his contributions to his community but also for the warmth and love he brought to every relationship. His spirit will live on in the memories of all who knew him, holding a special place in their hearts forever.
