Billy Pankey Obituary
Billy was born on March 7, 1939 in Keiser, Arkansas to Elmer and Mildred Jenigan Pankey. He spent his life working as a farmer and carpenter, taking pride in hard work and providing for his family.
Billy is survived by his son, Barry Pankey; six daughters, Barbara Moore (Bill), Sherri Lucas (Roy), Becky Bat (David), Lisa Rouse (Marvin), Pam Grubbs (Curtis), and Donna High (Eddie); 16 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; his sister Elizabeth Ware; and three brothers, Bobby Pankey, Rickey Pankey, and Ronnie Pankey.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife Muriel Jean Pankey; his daughters Bonnie Patton and Melisa Churchill; two grandsons, Brandon Pankey and James Payne; two sisters, Faye Hall and Linda Rowan; and two brothers, Sonnie Pankey and Donnie Pankey.
A visitation will be on Monday, December 29, 2025 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. and again on Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until funeral service time at 11:00 a.m. All times will be at United Funeral Service. Bro. Caleb Smith will officiate. Burial will be at Ingomar Cemetery.
