Billy Ray Rowland

1957 - 2025

Billy Ray Rowland, 68, of Marble, passed away Saturday, Nov. 15, 2025.
He was the son of the late Ray (Cowboy) and Virgie Payne Rowland.
Billy was also preceded in death by a sister, Mary Ruth Martin; a brother, David Rowland; mother-in-law, Nellie Sue Graham; brother-in-law, Trampas Graham; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Ida Sue Rowland; children, Kristen Rowland of the home, Brandy Rowland, Patti Morris, Shannon (Sara) Rowland and Timmy Rowland, all of Georgia; grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Billy loved all of them. He had great joy from his two grandbabies of the home, Rayna and Rayden Rowland. They were his pride and joy for the past seven years.
He is survived by his brother, Gary Rowland of Marble; brother and sister-in-law, the Rev. Ronnie and Annette Palmer; sister-in-law, Judy Graham (Jerry Sisum); sister-in-law, Sherri Rowland; and a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.
Billy will be greatly missed by his family and all that knew him.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
Billy will be laid to rest at Moss Cemetery.
