Billy Smith Obituary
Billy Wayne Smith, 84, of West Monroe, Louisiana, was born on July 16, 1941, in Corinth, Mississippi and entered Heaven’s Gates on November 1, 2025.
Mr. Smith was a husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather who will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him. Bill was a family man and he loved to spend time with his family, watching sports, and go to church at White’s Ferry Road Church.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Rev. James and Verlie Smith; brother, Jim Smith; and sister, Patricia Smith Briggs.
Those left to honor his memory are his beloved wife, Yvonne Smith; brothers, Bob Smith and James “Bebo” Smith; daughters, Lisa Allen and Emily Harrison; son, Steve Smith; eight grandchildren; three great grandchildren; as well as a host of friends and loved ones.
A memorial visitation to celebrate Bill’s life and legacy will be held from 10:00 A.M. to 12:00 P.M., Tuesday, November 4, 2025, in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home of West Monroe.
