Billy Wilson Obituary
Mr.Wilson was born to his late parents Raymond Leroy Wilson and Jimmie Lee Carlisle Wilson. He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Betty Gail Wilson, and sisters, Georgie Latture and Gracie Chapman.
Billy Ray loved singing gospel music and was a huge fan of Gospel Quartets and four part harmony. He loved fishing, bowling, fowl hunting, landscaping, helping others, and spending time with his family. He attended Tennessee Tech University and Florida State University. He worked as an accountant and bookkeeper for small businesses and retired from Arnold Air Force Base after 35 years of service. He was a member of Owl Hollow Church of Christ. Also, he served in the National Guard Reserves.
Mr. Wilson is survived by his daughters; Patrice McCann (Barry) of Tullahoma, TN, and Daphne West (Keith) of Scottsville, KY. Grandchildren; Morgan Camara (Caleb), Denver McCann, and Matthew West. Great Grandchildren; Charlotte Camara, and Chloe Camara.
A private graveside service was held for immediate family and close friends.
The family would like to thank Autumn Oaks Assisted Living, Gentiva Hospice, and Bailey Manor, of Manchester, TN. for the exceptional care, compassion and love you showed to him and our family.

I was so sorry to learn of Billy Ray's passing. Almost at the same time I was attending a funeral for Jack Vickers who was also a classmate of Billy Ray's and mine. My sister spent 2 couple years at Autumn Oaks before her passing. She passed last year and have been wondering if Billy Ray was possibly there at the same time. I visited her there often. I was at a funeral for Raymond Vernon several years ago and he and Rex Northcutt were there and that was the last time I remember seeing him. I worked with Raymond and he and Rex knew him from Tims Ford. Blessing as you grieve the loss of your father. Sue Heatherly Alexander -Huntsville,AL
