"BJ" Billy Joe Fagg

Kernersville- Mr. “BJ” Billy Joe Fagg, 70 passed away Sunday, November 9, 2025, at his residence. He was born July 21, 1955, in Forsyth County, the son of Joseph and Vivian Gillikin Fagg. He was a member of Calvary Hill Baptist Church, where he led the Calvary Hill Singers and sung in the choir. BJ held several managerial positions at Xpedx including driving, and all the while owned Lawn Clippers Landscaping for 33 years. He enjoyed skiing (both water and snow), playing tennis, and going to the coast fishing. He enjoyed the water so much that he had a boat before a car. BJ never met a stranger. He was kind, loving and a caretaker for all. He is preceded in death by his parents and three siblings, Roy Fagg, Sydney Fagg and Nancy Phelps. Survivors include his wife, Cindy Fagg; his siblings, Diann Ingold of Kernersville, Mary Styers of Kernersville, Shirley Creed of Clemmons and Danny Fagg of Kernersville and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. The family wishes to thank his special caregivers, Aide Marvin, Nurse Meredith and Nurse Jennifer. A Celebration of BJ’s life will be held at 2 PM Saturday, November 15, 2025, at Hayworth-Miller Kernersville Chapel with Mr. Gary Brown officiating. Burial will be held at 2 PM Monday, November 17, 2025, in Gardens of Memory, Walkertown. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home on Saturday.
