Blake Lugenbeel Obituary
On August 5, 2025, Blake Carson Isaac Lugenbeel finished his courageous battle with leukemia and stepped into his eternal home in Heaven. He was a beloved son, loving brother, cherished friend, and proud University of Tennessee student. He touched countless lives with his kindness, humor, faith, and passion for life. Blake faced leukemia with courage and grace, and his positive attitude inspired everyone who knew him.
Blake is survived by his parents, siblings, extended family, and friends who became family. He was welcomed into Heaven by his grandparents and the brother he never met.
A celebration of Blake’s life will be held on August 15, 2025, at Journey Church, 15711 Brookway Drive, Huntersville, NC. Visitation will begin at 2:00PM, and the service will begin at 3:00PM. In honor of his joy for life, attendees are invited to remain after the service to share a favorite memory and are asked to continue to honor Blake by carrying on his legacy of kindness.
Flowers can be received at Journey Church on August 15, 2025. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to East Tennessee Children’s Hospital by clicking the link below or by donating directly to East Tennessee Children’s Hospital Development Department PO box 15010 Knoxville, TN, 37901. Please specify Oncology Department if sending donations.
