Blanca Patricia Capistrano

Blanca "Patsy" Capistrano, devoted mother and grandmother and dear friend, passed away on October 12, 2025 at the age of 67.

Patsy was born on August 10, 1958 to Solome and Amelia Lomas in Downey, California. In 1985 she made the move from Santa Fe Springs to Madera, California with her husband Manuel and daughter Angelina. She created her life here for forty years where her and her husband started Set Free Ministries of Madera. Due to her husband's illness, Set Free Ministries was closed in March 2000. She worked as a CNA at Madera Convalescent home on A Street and then at Madera Community Hospital for 21 years until 2010. Until her passing, she was a caregiver for many years to many families in the Central Valley.

Patsy's whole world was her family and she absolutely loved God with her whole heart. In her free time, she loved spending time with her family, attending church, praying for others, calling everyone to check in on them, as well as trying different foods.

Patsy's love for her family is infinite. She is preceded in death by her husband Manuel Capistrano, brother Eddie Lomas, sister-in-law Lydia Lomas, brother-in-law Gilbert Serrano, and brother-in-law Frank Capistrano Jr. She is survived by her siblings Arturo Lomas and Vergie of San Pedro, Solome Lomas of Santa Fe Springs, Ruby Maldonado and Jose of Paramount, Angela Iniguez and Fithensio of Ontario, Chris Lomas of Riverside, Esther Salinas and Steve of Norwalk, and Geronimo and Suzie Lomas of Santa Fe Springs; son Gilbert Estrella of Santa Fe Springs and her daughter Angelina Munoz and son-in-law Sergio of Madera; grandchildren Marissa, Evie, Stella, Papas, Izzy, Sergio, Hammy, Ava, and Baby Noel and a great granddaughter Adalaya, as well as many nieces and nephews and her cherished friends.
