Blanche Parrott Obituary
Blanche Moon Parrott, 86, of Ruckersville, died Wednesday, September 16, 2009.
She was born January 23, 1923, in Albemarle County, the daughter of the late Richard and Bertha A. Shackleford Moon and was the wife of the late George H. Parrott. In addition, she was preceded in death by a son, Donald W. Wheeler.
Mrs. Parrott is survived by two sisters, Arleen Cooper and Elizabeth Mawyer; one half brother, Billy Moon; six grandchildren, Deborah Arleen Robinson, Donald W. Wheeler, Kimberly A. Harwood, Dianne C. McNeill, Brenda K. Gran and Jason H. Wheeler; 11 great- grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be conducted 1 p.m. Monday, September 21, 2009, at the Ruckersville Baptist Church with the Reverend Kyle Clements officiating. Interment will follow at the Ruckersville Community Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 3 until 4 p.m. Sunday, September 20, 2009, at the Ruckersville Baptist Church.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to the Ruckersville Baptist Church, P.O. Box 104, Ruckersville, VA 22968.

Blanche is my Husband's Aunt. I dearly loved Blanche, she was one of my favorites of the family. I loved her outspokenness. And the fact that she spoke her mind no matter what. She will be sorely missed at Ruckersville Baptist Church, I will miss her a great deal, as well as others there at Church.

Blanche Parrott is my Aunt (My Mom, Dorothy Moon Davis' sister.) My Mom died July 8,2009, only two months before Blanches passing. Blanche attended her funeral. I am so glad I was able to see her before she died..
Blanche.. say hi to Mom and Dad and my brother Kelly for me ok.. ;o) Also put in a good word for me.. Miss all of you!
