Bobbie Dale “Bob” Bolles, 85, of Casper, Wyoming passed away on June 19, 2025, at Central Wyoming Hospice with his daughters by his side.

Bob was born in Long Island, Kansas to Effus and Cleo Bolles on January 1, 1940. He attended Casper High School (now Natrona County High School) graduating in 1958. He then went on to Casper College, where he played basketball for Coach Swede Erickson and earned an Associate of Arts Degree in 1960. He moved to Greeley, Colorado, and attended Colorado State College earning his Bachelor of Arts Degree in 1963, and a Master of Arts Degree in 1966. Later on he also earned a Master’s Degree in Administration. After graduation he went to work as a teacher in Worland, Wyoming, then he began his lifelong career at Kelly Walsh High School, the year it opened in 1965. While at Kelly Walsh he was a teacher, a coach of many sports, the Athletic Director, and lastly a Vice Principal before his retirement in 1998. Coaching was his true passion and he was a phenomenal coach. The following year he came out of retirement and was the Principal at East Junior High. After his second retirement, he and Myrlu traveled, went on several trips, and took everyone to Disney World in Florida. He was also a long time volunteer for Meals on Wheels, having to quit delivering meals for them in 2020.

On June 15, 1963, he married the love of his life, Margaret Myrlu Duke. Together they had two beautiful daughters, Kristin, and Kimberly, who were definitely “daddy’s little girls.” He then became a Grandpa to four wonderful grandchildren; Kobe, Kade, Reagan, and Rayne. They were the lights of his life, whom he would do anything for. He could always be found making things for them, dressing them up in his ties, helping build things for them, attending dance recitals, church productions, and coaching them in any sport they might be interested in. He attended all their activities over the years, as long as he was able, and of course coached from the sidelines, at half-time, and at the end of the game or recital; giving them all the pointers he could come up with.

Bob is survived by his loving wife of sixty-two years, Myrlu, of Casper and their dog Dudley; his daughters and their husbands, Kristin and Pat Stoner; Kimberly and Kyle Mills; his grandchildren, Kobe and Kade Stoner; and Reagan and Rayne Mills all of Casper; his brother Bill Bolles of Des Moines, Iowa; his nephew Rod Kennedy and his wife, Tracey, of Casper; nephews Dan and wife Michelle, and Brian and wife Jennifer Sawyer of Colorado; and many other nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, Effus and Cleo Bolles, his sisters Beverly Kennedy and Bonnie Miller, his brother-in-law Merle Kennedy, and his in-laws Charles and Margaret Duke.

Funeral services will be held at the First United Methodist Church on July 10, 2025, at 10:00 AM, with Reverend Dan Odell officiating. Burial will follow at Memorial Gardens at approximately 12:00 PM. Bustard & Jacoby Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Memorial donations may be made to Central Wyoming Hospice and Transitions or Meals on Wheels.
