Bob Fox

Bob Fox, age 89, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 7, 2025, surrounded by his family in the comfort of his home in Caledonia, MI. Born in Traverse City, MI, Bob was raised on a farm in Elk Rapids, MI. He worked as a lineman and a supervisor for Consumers Energy for nearly 45 years before retirement, and went on to serve as a custodian for Banner of Christ Church for 18 years. Bob was an avid bowler and bowled his final game just days before his passing. He loved to golf and enjoyed his times on the golf course with his wife and family members. His family was very important to him, and he cherished spending time with them. Bob will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Judy; his children, Kimberly Ungrey, Kenneth and Sharon Fox, Randy Fox, Christine Koehler, Lisa and John Bevans, Susan Fox, Brian and Tracey Fox; his stepchildren, Patrick and Yvonne Lake, Becky and Mike Belanger; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; his sisters-in-law, Sally DeRuiter and Carol Fetty. As Bob requested, cremation has taken place and his cremated remains will be buried at Blain Cemetery in a private family committal service. Relatives and friends are invited to a visitation on Sunday, October 19, from 2 - 3 PM at Banner of Christ Church, 1111 68th Street SW, Byron Center, MI 49315, where a Celebration of Life Service will begin at 3 PM, followed by a time of refreshments. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
