Robert Edward "Bob" Gutsch, 92, of Cumberland died on Tuesday, November 21, 2023, at Mayo Clinic System in Barron. He was born November 30, 1930, in Baltimore, Maryland to Henry and Theresa (Thull) Gutsch. Bob joined the United States Army and served in the Korean War.
He was married in Wauwatosa, WI on June 7, 1958, to Kathleen "Kathi" Leverence.
Bob's faith was his guiding light. He loved and cherished the time he spent with his family. Bob had a heart of generosity and a contagious smile.
He is survived by wife, Kathi Gutsch; children: David (Heidi) Gutsch, Michael (Holly) Gutsch, Lynda (Richard) Lund, Edward Gutsch, and Vickie (Thomas) Brand; 22 grandchildren; 25 great grandchildren; nieces, nephews, and many other family and friends. Bob was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Theresa Gutsch; brother, Peter Gutsch; and sister, Helen Herzog.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, November 25, 2023, at Skinner Funeral Home in Cumberland with Pastor Bruce Tanner officiating. Burial will be in Northern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery at a later date. Visitation will begin at 1:00 PM.
