Bob (Bobcat) Hudson, age 88, of Bristow, Oklahoma, went to his heavenly home on Monday, January 5, 2026, at his residence in Bristow, Oklahoma. He was born on June 20, 1937 in Hale Center, Texas to Archie Hudson & Eula Kester Hudson.

Bob graduated from Stilwell High School, Stilwell, OK. In Bob's younger years he liked showing out and having a good time. He earned the nickname, Bobcat. Bob operated a backhoe his entire career and retired from Union Pacific Railroad. Later in life Bob found Jesus and loved attending church when the doors were open. He enjoyed singing hymnals. Bob married Mary Shotpouch April 15, 1990. He loved yard sales, bargaining, gardening, and cooking fry bread at The Shotpouch's Hog Fry's. Bob and Mary lived in Jay, OK and were members of Faith Mission Church of Jay, OK. After Mary passed Bob moved to Bristow, OK to be near his children and grandchildren. Bob was a member of Grace Christian Church in Bristow and made many friends. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.

Bob is proceeded in death by his parents Archie Hudson & Eula Kester Hudson; wife Mary Shotpouch Hudson; Son Darrell Hudson; Great-Grandson Daniel Maynard; Brothers Bill "Buster" Hudson & Leon Hudson.

Bob is survived by his children: Daughter, Rhonda Smith of Bristow, OK; Son, Keith Hudson and his wife Shannon of Bristow, OK; 8 Grandchildren; 21 Great Grandchildren; 2 Great-Great Grandchildren; numerous family and friends.

Bob's Celebration of Life Funeral Service will be held on Friday, 10:00am, January 9, 2026 at First Baptist Church, 503 N. 4th St., Jay, OK 74346 with Rev. DeWitt Teehee officiating. Followed by Bob's funeral procession to Hillside Cemetery, Eucha, OK.

Bob's burial will be held at Hillside Cemetery, Eucha, OK.

Arrangements are entrusted to Lawson's Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, 311 W. Gray St., Jay, OK 74346 with Shaunda J. Lawson, 3rd Generation Owner/Funeral Director and Staff.
