Bob Kastenmeier

I was fortunate enough to become friends with Edward at the University of Wisconsin and to meet Bob, my Congressman. Bob Kastenmeier was a great influence on me in my 20s. He will always be my #1 Congressman.

May your hearts soon be filled with wonderful memories of joyful times together as you celebrate a life well lived.

I wish to extend my deep sincere condolences to the Kastenmeier family. Death is a very painful process for family and friends. May the God of tender mercies and comfort give you comfort in knowing that Mr. Kastenmeier was so right the earth will be free of war Isaiah3:18. Hoping that family and friends can find peace and comfort in the many shared memories and through prayer.

My condolences to his family. He was a man of principle and foresight. He was far ahead of his time.

My condolences on the loss of your loved one. Mr. Kastenmeier had a strong desire for world peace, which is something we all would love to see. According to God's promise he will soon bring peace to this world by means of his Kingdom government. Jesus taught us to pray for this kingdom in the Lord's prayer. (Matthew 6:9,10) Not only will the kingdom bring peaceful conditions to this earth, it will also eliminate all sickness, suffering and even death. And so we pray, "Let Your Kingdom Come." May you find comfort now and in the days ahead in God's wonderful promises.

My deepest sympathy to the family. May the God of peace comfort you now in your time of grief. Let us continue to pray for God's Kingdom that will bring true peace and eliminate forever sickness that leads to death. (Matthew 6:10) Amen.

May the family find peace from "the God of all comfort", and may His promise to restore those asleep in death strengthen you during this time of sorrow. (John 5:25-29)

Congressman Kastenmeier was a man of principle and dogged determination. His interest in equal rights and wishes for world peace endeared him to many. We all look forward to a time of love and peace world wide, when Gods promise Is fulfilled at Isaiah 2:4. May the God of Love grant the family comfort and peace during this difficult time.
