Probably one of the most fun loving people one could ever know. He was loved by all of his Norridge buddies. Rest in peace Rob

Bob was one of those people that it only took a few minutes with to know he was a joy to be around. I knew we would be good friends shortly after meeting him. I remember early in our relationship being at Lubrano´s with Bob and Judy and several other couples. We were cutting up, being loud, laughing and having fun. I noticed that almost everyone coming in or leaving knew Bob and would come by to say hello to him. We were about to leave when a gentleman from a table close to us came over and wanted to know if Bob was the mayor of High Point. Bob was like a magnet, using his great laugh to get your attention and draw you within range and then his magnetic personality would pull you closer and closer. He enhanced my life and what more can you ask from a friend.

I will always remember Bob walking around the neighborhood with his wife Judy and just smiling and asking me how I´m doing in school or with sports or really just anything to check in. I always loved catching up with him no matter how brief it was. I also remember just waving and saying hey almost everyday when I attended IHM school. He had such a contagious smile and laugh that I´ll never forget. Rest in peace. I know you were welcomed with open arms in that pretty blue sky.

Bob was always a joyous and wonderful spirit! He and I always lamented our beloved Chicago White Sox and cheered on the Fighting Irish. His beautiful smile and infectious laugh will be dearly missed. Our deepest condolences to Judy and their entire family. May he be in peace.

While a 30+ year "earthly" friendship may have ended a few days ago, Bob will always be with us until we meet him again. The memories created over the years will never be forgotten. I thank God that our paths crossed when we moved into White Fences and became neighbors. It's been a great ride! Our hearts are broken, but we know his suffering has stopped. RIP my friend!
