I met Ann first, at a New Neighbors Club luncheon in Omaha NE. Many of us had recently moved to Omaha and so we were all trying to find our way and get settled in a new town. New Neighbors Club helped. As I recall (and it's been awhile!) one of the activities of the club was a monthly 'couple's gourmet' where appetizers would be at one couple's home, soup/salad at another home, entre at someone's else's home and dessert at a last home. Bob and Ann were in our group. I seem to recall there were probably six to eight couples in one group. I remember one of the first time's we (my husband Lee and I) , met Bob, he smiled and said. disarmingly, something like, "I bet you don't see many gray-haired men with braces on their teeth." Well, that made everyone grin along with him. Bob always seemed very sure of himself. And very 'comfortable in his own skin.'
Dear Ann and family, please accept our deepest sympathy and love on the passing of your beloved husband and father. I know it's not been an easy year for you. And sometimes the holidays make it worse. But hang in there. We're stronger then we think.
God bless you.
The Lee Hellweg family: Helen, Steve, Kurt, Duke and Kris.
P.S. Thank you for continuing to send sample's of Bob's art works. They are special. Just like him.

Ann and Family, my deepest sympathy on Bob's passing. Our families shared many memories together, from Pig Gourmet, Thanksgiving dinners in Kentucky to hosting a surprise birthday celebration for my dad. Lots of laughs!

Bob was a great UPS partner and an even greater friend. When UPS had meetings in New York Bob and would not miss the opportunity to make a bee line for Vincent´s clam house. I can´t tell you how many times Bob and I were there.
Bob was an absolute gentlemen at all times! A real professional businessman. He and I would laugh over our memories of watching "Don Winslow of the US Coast guard on black and white tv´s in the 50´s. Rest in peace Bob, you will be missed.

AKA The Blue Max! You could not meet a better man. He was patient and kind and honorable. A true pleasure to work with and be around. And we both loved Vincent's Clam Bar in Little Italy, back in the day. MO '70

I am proud to have been a supervisor in the Kansas district while Bob was the CS Region manager. What an intelligent and kind man. Always shook our hand and encouraged us in the tasks assigned to us. The kind of guy you would run into a burning building for (thank God that was never asked of us). I know that he will rest in peace knowing he is leaving his children to carry on his tradition of kindness and hard work.
