Bob Messer Obituary
He is preceded in death by his sister, Martha Christopher.
Bob enjoyed playing golf, fishing, and taking trips to Ashe County to pick up apples and cheese. He retired after more than 25 years at Siemens Westinghouse.
Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Lana Kirby Messer; daughters, Robin M. Costner (Frankie), Nicole M. Blaylock (Brandon); son, Martin Messer (Lisa); grandchildren, Hunter Costner, Tyler Blaylock; stepson, Jason Nixon; step grandson, Brandon Nixon.
The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at First Assembly of God on Wednesday, July 23, 2025.
Bob's memorial service will be held 3:00 PM on Wednesday, July 23, 2025, at First Assembly of God with Pastor Scott Lingerfelt and Mr. Hunter Costner officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Shriners Hospitals for Children, 2900 N. Rocky Point Drive, Tampa, FL 33607
